      Naerok & Nu-Tools Bandsaws
      - drive belts -

Incredibly popular when current - production lasted into the 1990s and with thousands sold - this compact and heavy (30 kg) machine was marketed under various brand names including the more common Naerok  (Korean written backwards) and Nu-Tools. It was made in several versions, all of very similar construction and fitted with a 45?tilting table (approximately 15.75" square) with some plain and others with a guide slot down the centre line. The throat was a generous 14.25", the maximum cutting depth 5.5" and the sanding disc 6" in diameter with. Drive, from a 1/3 h.p. 1-phase motor, was transmitted by a 7 mm round belt.
The writer has never known the electric motor to give trouble, but the switch can give trouble - though this is easily replaced. The round drive belt does become brittle with age and is best changed for a genuine Swiss-made Polycord industrial-drive type which we can supply. However, while the belt diameter, at 7 mm, is common to all versions, the length is not and can vary from around 660 to 680 mm. If you measure yours one can be ordered online here: https://store.lathes.co.uk/parts/naerok-nutools-warco-bandsaw-drive-belt or phone: 01298-871633 from 09:00 to 23:00 6 days) and we will be able to provide a replacement by return of post.
