      Gastl RG200 Shaper

Made from the early 1950s by Schwabener Maschinenbau Inh., Altmhlhausen 2, Bavaria, Germany, the 200 mm (8-inch) stroke shaper was the personal design of the founder, Richard Gastl Very soundly constructed and well-finished, the machine was good enough to win a gold medal the 1953 Munich Machine Tool Exhibition.
With declining demand, production ceased around 1985 and, although the Company still trades, they no longer offer any support for their older products.
